Hi, I'm Denise Maynard, MA, AMFT, an Associate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in  Cookeville TN. I earned my undergraduate degree from Fort Hays State University and my Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee.

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, navigating a difficult season of life, healing from a toxic or abusive relationship, or feeling disconnected from your partner, you don't have to face it alone.

I have a special passion for helping couples strengthen their emotional connection and improve communication, as well as helping individuals heal from unhealthy relationships, rebuild confidence, and move forward with hope. I also work with clients experiencing anxiety and chronic stress, helping them develop practical tools to feel more grounded and resilient.

My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, feel genuinely heard, and experience meaningful growth. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling more understood, more confident, and better equipped to create the life and relationships you want.
